A parish school

Faith in the everyday

We take our name from San Isidro, patron of farmers. The school is part of the parish, and faith is part of the day.

Children pray together at the start of the day, prepare for the sacraments with the parish and celebrate the feasts of the year. Every family who wants what we teach is welcome, whether Catholic or not.

The year

How faith is lived at school

  • Mass

Children go to Mass with the parish on feast days and once a week by group. Families may join them.

  • The sacraments

First communion in grade 2 and confirmation in grade 8 are prepared with the parish, with family meetings in Spanish.

  • The feasts

We celebrate Our Lady of Guadalupe in December and San Isidro in spring, with food, music and families.

  • Families who are not Catholic

Children of other beliefs take part in lessons and feasts as the family wishes, and the principal talks with the family from the first visit.
